My Story
My first act was in consumer insight, pushing through long hours and constant pressure whilst quietly running on empty. Then my late forties brought a shift I couldn't ignore. Broken sleep. Bloating. A changing body shape. Stress I couldn't shake. Fatigue no coffee could touch. I'd hit a wall — and the usual advice wasn't helping.
So I turned to the gym. What worked wasn't punishment, restriction or trying to get my old body back. It was daily movement, lifting weights, using resistance machines, improving my mobility and learning how to work with my body instead of fighting it.
I went from parkrun novice to marathon runner in three and a half months. Proof for me the change was a hundred percent possible.

Then I qualified as a personal trainer, with additional training in menopause nutrition, so I could help other women build their own second act with more strength, confidence and self-trust.

Before ActII, I spent fifteen years in consumer insight, helping brands understand people, behavior, culture and change.
